Your request page is private
Only people with the link can open it. Keep the link, don’t share it, and close the request when you find someone.
When you ask for quotes, your request gets its own private page. It shows what you asked for, how many pros got it, until when it takes quotes, and each quote with the pro’s page and a WhatsApp button.
Who can see it
- Only someone with the link. The link has a long secret key, and we keep only a scrambled copy of it.
- Search engines don’t show it.
- The phone that opens it remembers the key for 30 days, so an alert about a new quote opens it straight away.
Keep the link to yourself. Anyone who has it can see your quotes and close your request.
Lost the link? On the phone you used, open nearbyon.app: See your quotes is at the top for 14 days. We can’t send the link again, because we don’t keep it. Pros who send you a quote also get your WhatsApp to message you.
Found someone? Open the page and tap I found a pro: close this request. Pros stop seeing it, and nobody else can send a quote. Pros who already sent one still have your WhatsApp.
